Q u o t e: You don't need a new account for a bank char :)
Yes you do when your account is already filled with your own alts and personal bank chars. ;-) But again, there's need and then there's want! I didn't need to have bank alts for my guild, but I wanted to, to make things a bit easier for my guild.

Q u o t e: Well, for a start, it's quite easy to just stick the low level character on /follow and control purely the higher level one. ;-)
I like that way of thinking, I've helped one of my wife's characters that way, admittedly she was at her computer at the time telling me how difficult a quest was, still she saved me typing /follow, lol.

Q u o t e: As stated in your first quoted question, you should create a separate Battle.net account for your partner as it is not OK to share accounts. The second quoted question does not contradict that.
Hope that helps.
One thing I still can't find an answer on though is if they are on separate battle.net accounts can I still transfer characters between the accounts? I have two accounts at the moment for me and the other half and I was going to buy my teenagers their own accounts for Christmas. I wanted to move their level 80s off of our accounts, so do I merge them all into one battle.net account or make four?
I don't want them to lose their characters because the accounts although all paid by me are considered separate.
