This works outside GB as well! EU payments have fixed

Luckyli i moved to UK and switched to UK account and moved back to EU back later and this is what i found and i'm not switching back from UK account :-)

Well i never payed for wow when exchange rate was 2:1 so no i never did.
I did not play wow at that time. Can't you just be happy that i posted this neat trick to save some money?

So i found it, worst exchange rate was in October 2001 - 1.70:1 that is 0.588 exchange rate for 1 eur

2002-2007 - around 1.5:1 thats 0.666 (very very close to which blizzard have) (Since i play since 2008 i make my case)

2008 - hardcore 1.2:1
2009 - even more hardcore 1.1:1
2009 - current 1.08:1

Since we aren't using a single universal currency in the world, pricing differences like these do actually pop up in shops pretty often. Look up how much something costs in pounds or dollars, convert it to euros, then see how much it costs in a local shop. Or the other way around if you live in the UK.
