The big text box that told you that you be required to switch to a battle.net account to continue playing the game, the one that has been around since WOTLK and everyone clicked "I Agree" to.

Q u o t e:

So you always do whatever people tell you to do ?
And mind your language, by the way - I'm not one of your schoolmates.

This is the internet, noone cares.

Q u o t e:
I resent the fact that Blizzard is forcing me to create yet another handful of useless email accounts.
It's like all the other Facebooks, Linkedins, Yahoos, GMails, etc .. JOIN or you don't belong.

This is the 21st century, everyone should have an e-mail adress.

Q u o t e:
Sure, I will have to abide to all this nonsense, otherwise it's no more WoW.
What a society we live in nowadays ..

Yes, there are wars in the middle east, starvation and disease in Africa, the climate is going to hell and some parts of the world still have dictators, but to hell with that, WE NEED TO CREATE FREE E-MAILS TO PLAY ONLINE GAMES, WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THAT?

Watch your language? He didn't swear at you. Get over yourself because you're clearly just a grumpy old man looking for an outlet. If you don't like it, don't play WoW and find a hobby more suiting... bowls perhaps? Or feeding the ducks in the park?

And yes... what a society we live in where you have to create an email address to play a game on the internet, oh woe is you.

You need bigger worries in your life.

Q u o t e:
How hard is it to make a disposable email address that you only use to register for battle.net with? Or to trust your kids not to log onto your account?

It's not much of an effort at all, but that's not the point.

And you do have to maintain those accounts, because Blizzard/Battlenet will use it to send you stuff, whatever concerns your account, the game in general etc etc .. So I have "only" to check for mail on six accounts, in stead of only one. Such nonsense Blizz is giving us with this "brilliant" system ..

Log in to an email account every 30 days to keep it open. Oh lord no, you poor man.

Give each of the family their own email address (they should all have one in this day and age) and stop trying to control them all.

I really hope that you're trolling right now... YOU don't need to create a bunch of e-mail addresses for your family, let them get their own. If they're old enough to play WoW they're old enough for an e-mail.

EDIT: The sneaky rogue beat me to it :(

Q u o t e:

2. It brings huge advantages when they get it done. (cross realm/game friend chatting etc).

Advantages to a few.. nobody needed it in the past, and Blizzard is telling us that we "need this".

Q u o t e:

3. You should already have an e-mail attached to your wow account, remember you had to e-mail confirm when you created your account? Use that mail...solved your "another useless mail" problem..

Proves that you don't understand at all what this is all about, because that's EXACTLY what I told the blue chap in another thread. I already HAVE an email account which is being used for all my other WoW clients (YES that's permitted and not against the rules & regulations), so no need for another one, right ? Wrong! Because thanks to Battlenet, now I need SIX.

Q u o t e:

Seriously, if this is so hard on you, JUST QUIT, no one cares if a pathetic crying loser like you leaves...

As I told you already - mind your language, kid - I'm not one of your schoolmates.
Ask your parents to do something about your manners - they tried but failed.

And since you're not listening, this thread with you is, as far as I'm concerned, closed.

And for WoW, one is enough for you. And one for each member of your family, who should have their own e-mail. I don't really see what the problem is, unless you're trying to hide that you're a multiboxer for some reason.

No you don't.

Forum-post English Dictionary:

Q u o t e:
"Trolling" = "accurately answering my question, but with an answer I dislike"
"Common courtesy" = "Not applicable to me, but to everyone else."
