Actually won WCII in a contest, which led to buying WCIII and then WoW.

Should never have won that game :/

x-pro gamer from Starcraft Brood Wars

Woo woo.

It's funny how the only games I genuinely enjoy playing are made by Blizzard.

Dear Blizzard,
Nerf Paper it is over powered and covers me all the time.  Btw Scissors is fine they just need to L2Play.

I remember Warcraft 1 and Warcraft 2 very good from back in the day. They were frequently played both solo and at LAN parties.
I also remember getting my hands on Warcraft 3 some years later and loved the story behind all of it.

World of Warcraft was then later released, but I was too consumed with Ultima Online at the time to give it any attention. It was my little brother who eventually convinced me to start, the year after its release.

I first got Wc1 when my dad was giving it by a m8 of his, I was 11 at the time back in 1994.

My dad used to play it as he was better at strategy games than I was back then, I was a still a console boy but I played it after him and after I completed it Warcraft 2 came out.

I think Warcraft 2 was more what got me into World of Warcraft to begin with and that game started my love for the RTS genre, especially with games like Command and Conquer, Blood and Magic, Settlers and Age of Empires all of which influenced me thanks to Warcraft.

So thank you Blizzard :D

WarCraft Orcs & Humans was the first computergame i ever played... then WCII, StarCraft, Diablo I, Diablo II, WCIII... and now WoW. Proud to have played (almost) all blizzards games (even have Lost Vikings to SNES... dont have a SNES tho...)

Still play StarCraft, Diablo II and WarCraft III multiplayer with mates nowadays.
It really shows how blizz is able to make really good game that lasts!

Can't wait till StarCraft iI and Diablo III comes out (please hurry... don't wanna wait 5 years)

I loved the Warcraft I intro!!

"In the age of chaos, two factions battled for dominance. The kingdom of Azeroth was a prosperous one. The humans whom dwelled there turned the land into a paradise. The knights of Stormwind and the clerics of Northshire avenue roamed far and wide, serving the kings people with honor and justice. The well-trained armies of the king maintain a lasting peace for many generations.

Then came the Orcish hordes.
No-one knew where these creatures came from and none was prepared for the terror that they spawned. Their warriors wielded axe and spear with deadly proficiency, while others rode dark wolves as black as the moonless night. Unimagined were the destructive powers of their evil magics, derived from the fires of the underworld.

With an ingenious arsenal of weaponry and powerful magic, these two forces collided in a contest of cunning, intellect and brute strength. With the victor claiming dominance of the whole of Azeroth.

Welcome to the World of Warcraft."

Played WC1 & WC2 and loved both, tried WC3 and disliked the story so barely played it until after I'd been playing WoW for a long time (after Wrath anyway) when I completed it and Frozen throne.

Much preferred Blizzard's other games to the WC universe ones. Specifically Lost Vikings, Diablo (and the non Blizz x-pac) and Diablo 2. I never found to buy Starcraft though.

Besides for the most part I found other makers or RTS far superior in terms of replay-ability and environments... though some of the stories left something to be desired.

And because I didn't care much for the WoW story after being turned off by WC3 I was late to arrive in WoW... Still its fun now.
