The new World of Warcraft Race Change service is now live.

After purchasing a Race Change for a character, a player can choose any race of their same faction that is compatible with the character's current class. For more information on the Race Change service, please read the FAQ, or visit the Race Change page to get started.

I just want to tip my hat and say "thanks" to the good folks over att Blizzard for getting it right this time around.

It feels good to see you put some wheight an action behind the words of comfort you offered when the faction change was pushed in the states a good while before we got it here.

As I said back then aswell. Action speaks louder than words. Now I actually believe you meant what you said back then, so once again. Thank you for taking our feedback on board and trying a different aproach this time around.

Or it could mean that some races will get more classes available in the future. Such as, oh I dunno, Tauren getting paladins?

I thought they'd share cooldowns, or at least both be 60 days - looks like Blizzard saw no issue with a 3 day unconnected cooldown...

Change to human to grind reps, swap to race of your choice when exalted :P
