Technically this post probably doesn't belong on the professions board, but since it's very much about effectively making money - be it through daily quests or your professions - I figured I'd post it here anyway. Also, people who browse this board are more likely to contribute in comparison with, say, the general board I think.

My question is simple: What is your daily routine like?

I'll start off myself:

I always log out in Dalaran, so when I get on the next day I start by picking up the dailies that can be found there. For me those are the Fishing, Cooking, Jewelcrafting and Battleground dailies. Depending on what today's dailies actually are, I might do them first or do them on the side as I travel to other area's to pick up dailies.

I'll first go to the Argent Tournament area and pick up all the dailies there, all 7 of them. I do these all immediately, while being queued for the daily battleground, and after that I head to the Sons of Hodir place, pick up everything there and do those immediately. At that point I've done around ~20 dailies usally, so I head back to Dalaran and pretty much hang around, finish off whatever I hadn't done yet or I end up doing the daily heroic dungeon.

Upon faction change it seems my progress on the floating battleships - or whatever you call them - in Icecrown has been put back to the beginning, so I'm currently redoing all of these quests to access the dailies that were present there.

On top of that I sporadically join battlegrounds and slowly gain some honor which I buy and cut gems for to sell in the AH, which is a really great moneymaker! And lastly, in the past couple of days I've been selling the halloween wands for 15g per charge, which surprisingly sells really well! I've sold over at least 30 charges by now.

How about you? What is your daily routine like?

Collect money from auctions that been sold over night, enchant some vellums and put on AH then go on and do what I like :-)

Queue WSG, go do dailies, explore achievements or whatever whilst I wait for queues. If I really need money, I might do a few dailies here and there too :P

Also do daily heroic (On both this and my DK) and JC daily on my DK.

Collecting gold from the AH that I have made while at work. Making gold while not playing is great. Set up my AH re pricing all I have been undercut on if I think its worth it.. Do a round robin between my 80s and their professions creating more stuff to sell.

Finding cheap mats and then crafting stuff to sell. Then go farm some things just to see some of the world. Change farm mats into sellable items, also sell off some of the mats. Re check AH for undercutters. Look for more bargains then usually repeat.

Raid on weekends ftw do the AH in the week. I used to PvP in the week and raid on the weekend but playing the AH in the week is far more satisfying tbh.

Having 5 chars with maxed and nearly maxed professions on each means a lot of thinking going on to best make teh Gee

Havent done a daily in a while as I dont really like doing them and questing on an 80 seems like a waste for me if youre questing you should at least be levelling too.

Go through 7 chars and reauction stuff that didn't sell, get money from stuff that did sell.

Make more money, or do raids/fun stuff.

I never left.

i just play alt.

my mains i do not make money at all, as i do not need to do it. during my leveling i made so much money i am comfort for a while, as i do not raid much either
but i do like to do the WG every time i can do them for some extra gold.

other then that, i just play a alt. he mails everything i can sell to a bank alt and he sells all on the AH!

Players who buy Gold are supporting spamming, botting and keylogging. Activities that diminish the gameplay experience for everyone els.

Well for specific money making, i log in on a character, empty my mail for gold from the AH and usold items, repost, and the recraft any that have sold. Swap character, rinse and repeat.
Then check the AH for cheap mats, and buy up all oin the price range i'm looking at.
Distribute said mats to appropriate alt for crafting when i have nothing better to do.

Spend the rest of the day havinf fun.

I haven't farmed gold specifically in it's truest sense.i.e.dailies etc in over 2 years.

If i'm semi afk during the day / night, i will do some crafting to restock my mats supplies, but this is usually once a week or so.

*note*Prices are server dependant, so what someone else makes a profit on, you may not.*note*

Posting on alts...especially low level ones...shows you have no belief in yourself or what you say.

In a slump right now, so don't make much money

generally do the dailies of the tournament, then do the "easy" Hodir dailies, there I mine the ice elementals that everyone and I kill, selling the grey stuff...

then do some heroic or whatever...

as for this guy here, I just slack him into the next level...

I anxiously await the smacktard that says: "I buy gold"

You're not a complete idiot...

Some parts are missing!

Unless i decide some char of mine needs reputation/achievements (Argent Tournament for example) i dont do any daily's.
Cba, even the "free" gold that running the JC daily would in theory give me doesn't appeal to me.
Guess its the result of being rich, getting lazy.

I just lvl my shaman (This char) a bit, check my auctions and do the alchemy transmute thingy and then log off.
