Why are these mounts so hard to get when both of these guys are found sitting on them each time? I always aim high so as not to hurt them!

Because they rarely decide to hide inside their masters bodies when they die.

Cute. :)

Simply put, they would be no where near as cool as they are if they dropped each time.

Ashes of A'lar, Reins of the Raven Lord, Swift Zulian Tiger etc. They're all very cool because they're rare.

I appreciate that and I wasn't trying to get the drop rate increased :) just one of those questions, like where did the Brewfest Boss keep the Kodo exactly before he dropped it?? Perhaps it's better off I don't know! :P

I'm fine with them being rareish, though i don't think it affects the mount rarity much except short term. Longterm, pretty much all mounts to date are rare, because people change when something newer or cooler arrives except for the people that genuinely like the mount.

Because you are getting it's reins.

I'm sure you could drag off barons mount after you killed him, but sitting on a dead horse, well dead dead horse isn't gonna get you far.

Considering the amount of mobs that don't drop eyes, livers, intestines, heads, paws, fur, teeth, talons, hearts or ears I can imagine theres a fair amount of free space knocking about inside these monsters.

Probably why they never put up much of a fight when their bodily functions are supported by a small amount of coins and a rusted sword.

Il have to start playing with the sound on to see if certain mobs jingle a bit more when they walk.

I wasn't a forum visitor much last year but it's good to know that someone else asks themselves these same questions.

Wait, Raven Lord is rare? You would'nt have thought it, what with most of Dalaran sitting on them....

I've seen more people on a Zulian tiger in Org than on any other mount once.

Why is it that DKs seem to get them in under 10 runs yet some of us have been farming it for over a year now every reset ;|.
