Q: How can I obtain the penguin pet?
A: Starting on October 15, once you’ve successfully merged a World of Warcraft account with a Battle.net account, the penguin pet will be sent via in-game mail to all existing characters on the merged World of Warcraft account, along with all future characters on that World of Warcraft account. Players who merged previously will also receive the pet this way.

I've gotten it on some realms, but other realms don't have it yet, relogging wont solve that..

Im pretty sure they're Hotfixing it, as im sure the People who havent yet received it (Of which im a member) are pretty much Crying when they see people walking around with those Feathered Friends of Awesome.

Oddly enough the egg doesn't disappear when you activate it and the pet gets joined to your pet bar. At first I thought this was so you could mail it to your alts, but they all received their own egg in the mail so that's not the reason...

After all, you can't spell slaughter without laughter.

I beleive this was the same with Last year's Baby Blizzard bear. every char logged on gets a BoA bear, to mail to future alts After the event ends.

That's just standard for pets like these. It happens to pets from Collector's Editions as well, and those also get sent to any new characters that you make on your account as well as all existing characters.

Eh I just deleted it the moment I got it....who needs a penguin....I use windows and not the freaking Linux :P

And.... as i posted in another thread, if a Penguin is that important, go watch Happy Feet, you will get it, no need to spam threads about it (this one is an exception)

If you haven't got yours yet, then I would presume you will get it very soon. There are quite a few penguins that needs to be sent out, so it may be short while before everybody has their own Mr. Chilly :-)

It's BoA, so you just mail it to your other characters. The egg stays when you learn it.

I got my penguin on Sunstrider, Saurfang and Auchindoun, but didn't get him on Sylvanas and Nordrassil yet.
Is Blizzard sending them per user or per realm?

Oh god... I just can't imagine how awful the forums are gonna be tomorrow when mods are on off days. It's gonna be horrible spam of threads of "WHERE IZ MAH PET PEWNGWIN?".
