Hello there blizz and people I just want to say i think it sucks that you can inspect and check their talents and gear, I mean like if i make good dps spec for lets say warrior and someone notices i got a good dps etc. they can just inspect me and do the exact same spec, and the "gear" sure why not be able to check peoples gear but why the enhants and sockets ?
Cant it be like you choose if ur spec / "gear" shoudl be public or not ?

So you don't want to help people- but quite the oposite stop people from improving themselves? You are a rude one.

i think its a very useful ability, it can help you find which talent is best for you and gear and stuff to make you stronger, plus its fun to see what the other guy has :) and he can show off too.

Has somebody been told off for not enchanting their gear? I cant see any real downside to this feature, can help people who want to improve, or see if there is a reason why people are slacking.

People will copy any spec which puts out good dps, just as a lot of us have found specs and best gear/gems/enchants/rotations from various forums. People who want to learn will pick one way or anoother. It should be a good thing if you help people improve, not a burden.

It's okay, if you have a great spec others will check you out, it's perfectly natural. They're just comparing their spec to yours, it's nothing to be ashamed of, everyone does it!

I have a really dirty mind.

If I'm posting on this character I've insulted someone who deserved it.

My main is Destreid of Wildhammer.

Inspecting is fine, but I think the armory went a little too far with all the statistics.

Someone feels you do good dps and is impressed enough to copy your talent tree / gear and you take offense to it? Damn, you don't know how to take a compliment :P

There is this funny beeping sound coming from my trolldar, pointing in the direction of this thread. - Slorkuz

Well I can see where he is coming from, he thinks people should be rewarded for using their inititive and thinking for themselves to get better by having a spec and gear that works better than what people would otehrwise expect to work. I agree with him there.

But then again I would be stuck sometimes, for example I've only really recently started playing shaman, when I hit 80 I was expecting to go all mana/5 sec gear for pvp resto, but last season that wasn't the case, it was better to go crit, which I would have never really thought of if I couldn't check other people's gear and spec, so I am still glad that we can.
