Q u o t e:

Honestly, there are only two excuses for not getting enough tokens. "I missed two days of quests" and "I'm bad at ram racing". I'm guessing it's the latter, but you thought blaming Blizzard would be better. Wrong.

I am one of those - 'not so good at ram racing' and also missed over half of event duration (offline is serious biz), and its going to be a close call as I have less than half time to finish it. Ram racing tokens must be over 20 per day (or 20 exact) and I must do dailies (IF tour+once I was drunk) and as I managed to get some bugs 1st 2-3 days of ram racing on said character I am seeing if I am going to be in time, or 2-4 tokens short of 350, which is minim needed.

I'd say safely that those 2 quests they removed would have helped me a lot, but luckily for me I got to log in game just in time to try to get the drake for my dk (who missed christmas events because was offline all december :s) on December.

I do see why some players are devastated over that change, because they have come this far and yet may miss few tokens because various reasons. And well not all are pro at ram racing. I have got on my best 30 tickets, and on my worse 16 (bugs are pro, but i don't blame Blizz on this as glitches happen on any game). I know some can get a lot more, but I am not 'some'. I am glad I am least alliance and get to get some more tickets per try.

If you talk to Majordomo before we're ready he'll give you a new quest: [62][D] Looking For Guild!

i can't understand why everyone is whining so much about these two missing quests. Even without these two you can get the 'Brewmaster'-title in just 7 days. do the math :

Day 1 : Corin Direbrew 40
Get 'Direbrewfest'
Daily : Ram-racing 24-26
Daily : Once when I 10
Get 'Down with the dark iron'
Daily : Barking 15 : 89 - 91

Day 2 : Dailies 49 - 51 : 138 - 142

Day 3 : Dailies 49 - 51 : 187 - 193

Day 4 : Dailies 49 - 51 : 236 - 244

Day 5 : Dailies 49 - 51 : 285 - 295

Day 6 : Dailies 49 - 51 : 334 - 346

Day 7 : Dailies 49 - 51 : 383 - 397
Buy Brewfest regalia : 33 - 47
Get 'Disturbing the peace'
Sell Brewfest regalia : 383 - 397
Buy 'Brew of the Month' : 183 - 197
Get 'Brew of the month'
Buy 'Fresh Brewfest Hops' : 181 - 195
Get 'Have keg, will travel'
Buy 'Wolpertinger's Tankard' (50 silver for European servers)
Get 'Does your Wolpertinger linger'
Buy the Brewfest food stuff
Get 'The Brewfest diet'
Buy the Brewfest beers
Go to Scryer's Tier, Sathrath city
Get 'Strange brew'
Get 'Drunken stupor'
Get 'Brewmaster'

After 7 days you have enough tickets left to buy a 'pink elek' or a 'Brewfest keg', with a bit of luck perhaps even both. And for those who state that my estimate of 24 - 26 tokens for ram-racing is on the high side, even if you get only 20 tokens a day from ram-racing you could still get it in 7 days. So, we don't need those two quests, they are only one-off and would only give you an additional 40 tokens wich would only shave off one day.

(yes, 'Elek's on parade' is a one-off ; the idea that it was a daily is a mistake due to the fact that when it was first introduced it was reset aft6er 2 days because of a faulty implementation and you could do it again)

Slapped my leyboard in anger and hit 6, Wotf went off and i got dismounted, 4 tickets achieved, 18 hours till next thingy, and ive got 94 tickets to go for the chest.
%#!# ME BLIZZ

Unless I missed something and you already did.

Edit: Actually reading the above comment mae me happy panda, maybe ill make it.

I konw exactly what you mean. At the start of Brewfest the button for the ram-reigns was next to my rocket-boots button and at one point I mouse-clicked on the rocket-boots. Had only done 4 retour trips :( and my ram was gone. Needless to say, the button has been moved.

Tip for the ram-racing ; I noticed that you miss the apples easily when there are many people racing, try to do it when there are few people around (in the early morning or late evening). This is in contradiction to the 'Once I was drunk....'. Do that when there are many players around :).

Good luck, Im sure you can get those 94 tickets ;)

Considering some of the responses in this topic I wouldn't think that's too far off.

Should rename this 'Crapfest' cos it takes 2 years to get enough tokens to complete and get the pet.

What a load of rubbish.
