Ok I will try to keep this as short as possible.

I completed the quest chain for the events that lead to the Achievement "Veteran of the Wrathgate". Which includes killing Varimathras.

I also (in my boring times) like to complete low quests for the Loremaster Achievement. So i got the quest "The Power to Destroy...". But when i did the quest in Ragefire Chasm and went back to Undercity to return it Varimathras, due to the first mentioned Achievement and due to phasing, wasn't visible to me. So, no return for this quest.

I talked to a GM and he told me that he is not informed about any change to this quest. And said to me that it is up to me if i want to abandon it or keep it in case the developers change the return NPC for this quest.

I would like someone from the Blizz's stuff to answer me on this please.

I will bump this thread every now and then till i get an answer.

You already know the answer. If you have completed veterean of the wrathgate quests, you are no longer able to do any quest which involve Varimatras.
Losing those 8 odd quests won't interfere with your loremaster achievement.

I see no reason how and/or why varimatras would come back as an npc, after he kinda betrayed the horde and you know, you kinda killed him.

It very obviously will interfere - it just won't prevent you entirely from getting loremaster achievements.

I see no reason why varimathras' role couldn't be filled by, you know, a stand-in like in so many other cases where questgivers would disappear or be moved due to expansions.

First, bump

Secondly, why lose this easy quest and search for others and more time since I got one right here rdy to be delivered.

Thirdly, I didn't ask for Varimathras to be returned. That would be totally stupid. I killed him, i was there. :)

I asked (and this takes like 20 minutes for Blizz's Programmers :P ), if they make it possible in the near future to rturn the quest somewhere else. Don't care where.

And fourth, If one reports an issue nothing happens. If ten report it it's spam, if 100 report it Blizz will fix it. Same applies to Democracy etc etc :)

errr.. If I remember correct. The quest he gives is all clasified as dungeon quest. (RFC, SM and some other) and dungeon quests does not count towards the loremaster ach.

I thought they changed it so you turn it in to Sylvanas?
