Alas I am sad to be leaving but the game has finally met its doom imho. Dont get me wrong the game is top quality in every aspect from sound to graphics and gameplay, but alas, just like the real world, the players have managed to %%%! it up.

First of all its not fun when other players have something you cant get, its bad enough having to put up with this in the real world in the form of rich celebrities who have everything like nice cars, money, etc...

So obviously when you play an online fantasy game you would want to escape things like this but unfortunatley the game design doesnt allow for the majority of players to be successful at the game.

The main reason for this i belive is that... the game itself isnt too difficult, but what is difficult is finding 8 - 24 other players who are going to be competent enough to get through end game content, add to this the fact most people have #%*% going on in real life, and your left with very few players/guilds making it to endgame content.

Also the game used to be fun, but now it just seems to be a gear competition, who has the best gear... this is not my idea of fun or cool. Like i said the game is very good, i love the raid boss fights but, the amount of stress and effort involved in getting there isnt worth it for me personally.

And if you look around you will find the majority of players wont get the end game achevements or the mounts which leads back to my previous ccomplaint about escaping the capatlist society of real life, only a few lucky groups of people/guilds are going to possibly make it, its too impractical that everyone is going to experience all the game has to offer.

Also maybe the name of the game should be changed to guild wars, because thats what endgame is, no one told me when i started that in order to experience endgame content, you have to be a member of a 25 man + guild. There are all sorts of people in the world, all sorts of annoying %%%!ed up people and tbh i dont want to be talking to them over the internet or listening to them, or putting up with emotional/structural bs in guilds..

Theres no options for people who dont want to be in guilds, and im pretty sure a large portion of the player base doesnt want to be in a guild similar to the commercial businesses you get irl, i.e ranks, promotions and ass kissing/mind game %%%!ing bull#%*%..

So my only option is to quit now while im ahead, and not let the game drive me crazy or spend weeks of stress and effort trying to obtain a few weapons and pieces of armour, only to discover that in a few weeks there will be better ones that ill have to repeat the entire process for.

Also since blizzard decided to remove the achievement reward for the naxxaramas acheviements (the plagued proto drake) I can never be 100 % sure that anything im working towards getting wont be taken away when im like one or two achivements away from getting it, i feel now the game is very unstable and feel like im skating on thin ice when im playing it.

To sum up, to many annoying people and factors in the game, i cant handle it anymore and i dont want to waste time and effort trying, and i cant play without joining a guild because its to annoying when other players have better gear/mounts than me, so all the fun is taken away from this once rich and beautifulk world i really used to enjoy being in.

I really did love the game, and I have learnt a lot from it, about people and human instinct, the good and bad side of the nature of humans, and it will help me with things in real life. My favourite dungeon is still wailing caverns, and i have some very good memoris of runs through there, and thats what I will always remember when i think of wow... Wailing Caverns...

So good bye everyone, enjoy your never ending meaningless struggle to keep obtaining the best gear/mounts in the game, i look forward to the next evolution of mmorpgs..

Goodbye, I love you all xx

Its these kind of attitudes that are part of the reason im leaving, i dont know if the game turns people into heartless souless demonic beings, or maybe they were always like that and this game amplifies it.. dont worry tho, im not expecting anyone to care ..

and i dont care if anyone cares, because we are all doomed anyway

Ever heard of RP servers? As you are playing on one.

Jujumba (80), Larathas (80), Moonhorn (80) and Angur (71) on Laughing Skull EU.

Mountains and molehills.

I find these two things fascinating, yet amusing.

I did read the post, and at least it was well typed and seems like you actually put in some thought when typing.

Anyways, the way I look at it is that you are not enjoying the game anymore, and if you dont enjoy something then dont do it, pretty simple.

I've often argued against the elitist qualities of the game that were very prevalent in TBC, and hated forum posters who called others noobs, and displayed a really arrogant attitude.

I'm saying this, because i want you to know i am not some high might uber raider, that spits on people who can't commit as much time to this game as i can.

Because i want to tell you, to wise up. Seriously.

How can you honestly say you didn't know you'd have to group with people to complete content?!? What part of massively, MULTI player did you not get?!

My advice to you is, stick to single player RPO's. Your long list of moans means you're not going to enjoy an MMORPG, because you want to avoid the one thing that makes an MMO and MMO, i.e. PEOPLE.

Posting on my main since day one.

on the other hand thats what makes the game great... if everyone had their 310% mounts, t9 (i think we're on t9 now... it all went wrong since t3 :P), 200k gold, and everything else, what would be the fun in that??

Ya see its these kinds atitudes ive had it with, the word "retard" is used way to often, the game is full of idiots like you, and he newer people just follow suit like lemmings coz there arent many people clever or strong enough to break this cycle of bull%%!* the other guys post is right, i just cant bear peoples bull#%##, i am gonna have to stick to single player tings..

Also im not emo im just aware of reality
