We just hotfixed the following changes to the Trial of the Grand Crusader (aka Heroic mode).

Northrend Beasts
  • Fixed a bug where the flag that prevents a creature from gaining attack speed after a parry was inadvertently left off Gormok the Impaler. This bug is fixed in normal mode as well.
  • Increased the amount of time players have to defeat the encounter before Icehowl berserks.
  • You have an extra half second to get out of the way of a very angry charging Yeti. Players with high ping rejoice.
  • Icehowl will become tauntable. (This particular element isn't hotfixed quite yet, but should be shortly).

Lord Jaraxxus
  • Infernal Eruption will now spawn an additional Felflame Infernal the instant the eruption occurs.
  • Nether Portal now summons Mistresses of Pain slightly more often.

Nice to see they realized, that Jaraxxus "dps check" is a joke after you managed to kill the Beasts. Of course, that depends on what "slightly" means.

Healing since level 1 - screw all the Doomsayers.

the mistress indeed spawned faster then normal on 10m hardmode, last week we had her spawn at 50% of portal hp, this week 77% (same team, same members and no it wasnt a late switch). However our dps was stil high enough for us to nuke it before a second one spawned.

I suppose on 25M you wil definately get 2 of them now.

That probably means you'll generally get 2 Mistresses from each portal and 3 Infernals out of each volcano.

In 25 i mean.

In 10 we didn't really notice any difference.

The parry-thing was insane, as he hits quite hard from before. But it was nothing compared to the wipes we had just because people couldn't get away if they had the slightest lag, thus raidmembers died which made us reach enrage timers. Fixing so that people actually have a chance of moving away before he rams you is a good thing.

These Hard-Modes are tougher than I thought! I'l have to Forum Whine!

parry and the latency thing is a good thing yea but it's 1 minute extra on the enrage timer, making sure he'll beserk right before or right after he did his aoe knockback (so basicly you can get lucky and kill him on the 4th stun while beserked)

Not rly , we just killed this boss on 25 heroic yesterday and we never had more then one mistress spawn. Infact it seemed like the spawn time is even longer then last week when we failed on this boss. I dunno if we had better setup more gear or just perfect executin this week.So even with this hotfix its highly doable. The infernals we got however were 3 all the time, which ranged dps burned down quite easily. The trick is to use personal cooldowns on first portal and on second we popped bloodlust.

As goes for beasts heroic encounter the Icehowl nerf is highly welcomed, it was quite frustrating to wipe on the enrage after perfectly executing first two mobs. Also Icehowl usually crashed into ppl cuz of the server lagg... The beasts encounter is generally much harder then Jarraxus cuz it leaves very little room for personal mistakes(you rly need all the dps alive to be able to burn it comfortably down with current lvl of gear), we wiped 3 hours on it while we have oneshoted Jarraxus yesterday.

We also managed to do our first 25 man heroic try on faction champs yesterday just before calling it and that so far seems quite hard. We were barely able to burn down the first priest mob before the raid was dead. They heal alot , little bastards. If this continues to bug us maybe u should consider toning it down abit also. :P But i guess practice and more gear does make it easier.
EDIT : We now managed to down faction champs but its quite an epic and frustrating encounter :O. Took us 18min 18 secs to down. :O Ilidan memories :)
