We just deployed a hotfix to modify Holy Wrath so this spell has the same diminishing return mechanics that other player stun spells and abilities currently have. This will prevent Undead creatures that we wish to be susceptible to stun from being permanently stunned if you include enough Paladins in your raid who then rotate their Holy Wrath casts.
This will affect the difficulty of Anub'arak, but we didn't want the "right way" to defeat this fight to involve bringing five Paladins who glyphed their Holy Wrath spell.

"right way " LOLOLOL stacking 5 rogues and 5 dks is the right way ?:O Rogue fok nerf can wait till 3.2.2 holy wrath must be hot fixed :O :P The right way.
Changing the whole spell because of one encounter? That's lazy!!
Q u o t e: Well. Tauren ->Nature society -> Weed farming/Smoking -> Taurens were Hiiiiiiiigh when Cataclysm came-> "Whoa dude, liiight, aweeeeeesome" = Paladins/Priests :<
All of this QQ'ing. Come on guys, this game isnt that hard :D
I don’t suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

I'm really happy to see that Holy Wrath now also does holy damage to 3 players around me and also stuns them all for 3 seconds, 10 yards radius.
Thank you Blizz, this will really help. Finally your promise came true, and you gave paladins a better tool for pvp.
Any horde healer wanna take me as his pet ? I'll follow you everywhere and I'll only pinch you once in a while :) Most important, I have pretty wings and a nice bubble !
Q u o t e: ehrm.. ok tell me why you can hot fix this but not paladin ret 2p t9 bonus? why?
This is because the mechanics behind this setbonus is so different from the mechanics behind Holy Wrath. A retadin will never do the same numbers as a catswiper or Fokrogue, but paladins are getting the first hit.
Amazing that the judgement bug is actually fixed.

Q u o t e: It's strange how stuff like this can get hotfixed, while other more serious problems can only be "adressed at the next patch"... Or later...
And why would anybody bring 5 paladins to Naxx just to get an easier time on one boss? With EoC, all players outgear Naxx anyway...
5 Paladins to ToC25***
But i totally agree a silly mechanic for 1 boss is instantly hotfixed but a set bonus that we are currently aiming for/need to improve our dps can't be fixed to 3.2.2 (When is this btw...)

well atleast ret dps is being seriosly looked upon by blizzard, can't say the same for my main that's shadowpriest, heck this char is far more usable as offspec ret in toc than my priest is...

The hotfix to holy wrath was probably adding a small scriptline, or even turning a false statement into a true statement. Other issues are probably larger and require more attention and precision. This wasn't tweaking with numbers or anything, this was just making holy wrath's stun to have DR.
Difference between newbs and noobs:
Newbs are eager to learn and can get better overtime.
Noobs have no hope.
Think twice before calling someone either of the two.
