So how is cataclysm going to affect these titles? Is it worth getting them?

I would assume that people who already have them will keep them, but the requirements will change for people who don't. I'm guessing the Loremaster one for Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms will follow the same method that the Outland and Northrend ones do, with a certain amount of quests to do in each zone.

Well, quests are will still be available in Azeroth so i don't see why Loremaster would be changed at all. And im sure the achievements for explorer will be changed to find "lava river" instead of "bunch of trees"

And once again make us have less achivement points? this is not fair by all means, whatever achivement that you blizzard are clueless what to do with is FoS

Suggestion:

1) Rename the current Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms to "Ancient Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms". Likewise for Kalimdor, and make these Feats of Strength since they'll no longer be attainable as they stand.

2) Create new Loremaster achievements for the re-vamped EK and Kalimdor, wirth a proper breakdown on a per-zone basis, as you have for Outlands and Northrend.

3) Make the meta-achievement that gives the title require either "Ancient Loremaster of... " or "Loremaster of..." so people can keep their titles, but newcomers can still get them.

Or make new achivement that reward "Grand Loremaster"

Considering the value of Loremaster today is high because of the bad design of the questhubs on the old continents (hidden quests, unclear descriptions, extreme travel distances, no flying to speed things up) - which is a Cataclysm feature to fix - I'd suggest coming up with a new title and putting Loremaster to the Feats of Strength to keep its value.

Crap this really made me think to hurry up and end mine asap ... Having such a great or insane FOS or ach is very tempting ... 600 q left :/

500 quests here, and thinking I just do that this week-end ... need more wine and cookies!

That REALLY depends. I mean, is spending real money for a pet "pwn"? Or is buying a brewfest stein "pwn"?

What if you did EK and Kalimdor, but haven't found a group for the group quests in Icecrown? WIll you be able to get the feat of strenght after the Catalysm then?
