So what's the reason behind taking the only aoe rogue has away? The aoe we deserved since vanilla. Can't believe this change. We have no buffs, and now no overall raid dmg... gg

It's actually quite interesting how everytime there is some kind of nerf, people goes "Zomg, now we suck in PvE / PvP", based on a single sentence, and without any math backing it up.

You haven't made any calculations, you haven't tried it, you most likely haven't even spend more than a couple of seconds thinking about it. How on earth can you claim Rogues suddenly don't have any overall raid damage?

Same reason volley was nerfed, FoK is too strong.

Both FoK fixes are perfectly understandable.

It fixed the PvP issue.

It fixed the issue where I'm having 20/25k AoE dps on trash in PvE, while the rest is 10k+ dps below me.

It's a justified fix, nothing more.

The interrupt change was badly needed.

Ive never used the spec but an interrupt without a CD is retarded for so many reasons, let alone an aoe interrupt.

I think the damage nerf is bit over the top, FoK was the single ace that rogues had in pve.
Rogues don't do anymore single target dps than shaman or dks or warriors all of which bring better raid buffs and utility.

Plus its going to be a @!!%! in pvp, trying to kill mirror images and such is going to take much more energy now.

I is sad panda about the damage nerf.

Besides that they do when played right. Not sure about DK's though... But I haven't had any of said classes beat me in a raid environment.

Shaman and warrior don't normally beat me if im honest, since the buffs they give me make rogue dps scale so much better. But a shaman would be doing the same dps as a rogue without a shaman, if you know what i mean. DKs often do more though.

But my dps is often way behind the mages and warlocks, that could be put down to melee unfriendly fights where you constantly have to run out of aoe moves. But even on a tank and spank the caster pure dps generally come out ahead of the rogues.

i perfectly understand the interrupt nerf, but the damage reduction seems harsh tbh. im going to go back to watching other people kill trash and just even bother. i had to work my ass off anyway. 20-25k dps? on what? 10 million spiders? most i can pull is 9-10k and all the mages etc are doing12-15k...even the Ret pala was pulling 11k.

take our interrupts but give us 30% back plox.

I blew cooldowns when we took both robot packs before XT-002 at te same time. It was indeed insane to look at :/.

Most of the time it sits between 13/15k though.

Trash is trash; who really cared about trash and clearing it faster was just 'better'.If people are pissed at losing dps fights on trash then they are strange...

For PvP then it sounds like it was a pain, but it was also very useful on some fights like Yogg.

Again I am just suprised that the ability (throwing specialisation) made it into the game and a season or two of arena before they decided it was OP, whilst in PvE it just made life easier.

i believe it made it into the game becuase fok used to be on a 30 second cd (if i remember right), and it took a season or two to change it, becuase it took a season or two for people to start using it :)

Eeeeeeh , do you know that my images takes less dmg from AoE spells/abilitys? Ppl dont use aoe to kill them anymore jesus

Yes i do know that but its still faster than killing each one individually and when im stuck in a nova there is not much else to do.

Example of fok:

Thorim npcs dpsing in arena with the jorumunger.

Tott tank->BF-> auto attack target->fok to 0 energy->Killing spree->AR->22k dps for about 5seconds->dps slowly drops to about 8k once all mobs are dead.

Thorim npcs dpsing in arena with the jorumunger.

Tott tank -> auto attack->fok i hit 8-10k dps->observes priest doing a constant 13k dps->observes mages/locks doing 7-8k dps

Thats what i see on most trash packs in ulduar with 7-8mobs. Now i dont know if our ranged just dont aoe or what but priests can acutally out aoe rogues when we dont use our cds, are they going to get the nerf too?

Tbh, if you didn't see that nerf coming from several Sagan miles away, you can't be helped :p
