Soo, from what I understand there's the 10man normal, 10man heroic, 25man normal and 25man heroic versions of instances now.

We did the 1st boss last night, and like everyone else we killed it too easily. This was normal 25man mode ofc.
My question is, how's the heroic version of this? Do we have to do an achievement while killing the boss (kill the jormungar worms at the same time, within 10 minutes of entering instance, while wearing ilvl 226 gear)? Is the heroic version simply the same as normal only more damage/tighter enrage?

Have to admit I haven't investigated too much yet, hoping you guys can help me :)

heroic mode has more damage and health, and slightly different tactics, along with ilv 258 loot in 25 man and is only unlocked if at least one of your raid members has beaten every boss encounter on "normal" mode.

So it takes 5 weeks before we can try heroic mode, provided we kill the 5 bosses normal mode? :\




And I was hoping heroic mode wasn't just same-but-more :S

Right-click your portrait and check out the new "Raid Difficulty" settings.

That's not true. Or, if it is, you forgot to mention something. It takes _4_ weeks to be able to access the hard mode. You know, first boss is available now, second in 1 week, 3rd in 2 weeks, 4th in 3 weeks and the 5th and final in 4 weeks.

T0 - 3.2 is released, for Europe this was on the 5th of August. First boss is available.
1 week later, another boss is available, this being the second boss.
2 weeks later (from the start), the third boss becomes available.
3 weeks later, fourth boss is available
4 weeks later, the fifth and final boss is available and the heroic instance can be unlocked. 4 weeks after the release of 3.2, 4 weeks from the start, however you want to call it. On the 2nd of September.

It's obvious that they both meant that it will happen 5 weeks from a certain point, not in the 5th week. If they didn't mean that, they shouldn't have said it.

The blizzard replier meant "You will not have to wait a further 5 weeks from the first week of heroic mode."
