Make Vanish work against Guards, that's what its supposed to do else give the guards the detect stealth icon so it can justify why they still hit you after you vanish.

Or give us bonus armour/ defence/ health/ something when in combat with a guard. Taking away our only decent defence and not giving anything back makes me sad :(. We're supposed to be stealthy assasins who can sneak into a bunch of enemies and get away after. If people dont like that, then just stop attacking people 5 minutes before you go to town and your flag will be off anyway :/.

Yes it should be fixed back to what it was. Vanishing from guards was the rogues only skill to stay alive. Blizzard is just killing world pvp by doing this to rogues vanish, hunters FD etc. Also the amount of guards coming if you are passing a npc is just stupid. Before u even get anywhere u have billion guards humping ur ass.

Get out of guard spawn/public range and spam FoK to down them, and stop wasting vanish on 'em.

It's annoying, but srsly, adapt.

I find it more funkier wander around enemy cities with threat to be caught. That's more thrilling than be there overpowered - hiding, like a squirrel - all mighty.

Great idea, so you can walk around player towns and sap people for fun?
As a druid it was never my idea of fun, Trying to do banking or post only to have some idiot keep sapping me

If you rolled a PvP server or are PvP flagged, you shouldn't complain about this sort of thing; what's more is it changes nothing towards sapping people, only going for the kill.

Can't really compare an arcane mage compared to a rogue, which effectivly uses stealth as it's main weapon.

what do you think we rold rogue for. i only sap ppl that are raiding past me that i wana kill, and i only go for lvl 80. its a bit more of a chalinge now tho sins i got to plan my "sprint rut" to get away fron the guards

tru that. the poynt was that ther invis works agenst guards our vanish dosnt.

If I'm not mistaken, Invisibility works just as well as Vanish does.

Vanish not working on city guards is intended, because we do not feel that it is a good thing to provide an ability to grief in cities and be able to escape with little to no retaliation.

You are of course free to infiltrate enemy cities as much as you like, but be prepared to defend yourself (or flee in the old fashioned way) if you are discovered.
