Following the last patch the World of Warcraft realms have been affected by technical issues affecting game-play to a significant extent. Due to this, all players with an active account will receive 2 days of game time credit on their account.

Earthen Ring experienced additional issues making this realm especially unstable for about a week. Players with an active character on Earthen Ring will receive one additional day of game time credit, for a total of three days.

This credit will be added to players' accounts in the next few weeks.

INCONCEIVABLE!

Boo Hoo, cry more noob etc etc. You got something in compensation be happy for that and quit complaining. Maybe if you did something other than sit at your pc 24/7 playing wow you wouldn't whine as much when its not available.

Btw thanks for the free days etc.

Thank you very much. Server runs quite smoothly now too (aside BGs), I'm very satisfied.

Say you work, 6 hrs a day? Not that much eh? then you sleep, lets say u sleep good and u sleep 8 hrs, thats a total of 14 hrs, a day, if you work 5 days, and in the weekends do something instead of work, something non-wow, its a total of 98 hours yes? So if you would spend all your other time on WoW, that would be 70 hours of WoW time where you where unable to play normally... You got 72 hours free.... thats 2 more then you wouldnt be able to play in this scenario...

Now stop whining, ty...

well... if every1 would play 24/7 i would say 3 days is GREAT...

but how much real play hours will you really use from thet 3 days? 2/day? 4/day? maybe 8?

let's say some1 plays 8h/day... per 3 days for earthen ring players, who couldn't raid nor pvp nor ANYTHING for a whole week (or more)... looks quite poor to me.

since the patch (2 weeks ago) "blackout" battlegoup has been completely unplayable in battlegrounds... which specially on PVP server (we're here for pvp, ya know) is outrageous...

14 days of lag... and what do we get? 2 days back, which we will only use maybe 6, maybe 8 hours from (suposing you're hardcore)

for all the mess blizzard did with patch 2.01 they should give EVERYONE at least a whole week for free... because no one plays 24/7 to make full benfit of that 2 or 3 days they give, but no one has been able to fully enjoy the game at ANY HOUR during last 2 weeks.

does it apply for cancelled accounts too? I cancelled my account as it will expire on 7th January and I will activate it again when TBC arrives to my mailbox.

Sorry I'm a bit lost. If the server was unplayable, meaning any kind of quality gaming, how does 5 days equate to 3 days compensation?.
I'm not on ER but if i was I would be asking that question I think.

Sure,

now also reduce the time that you reduced off the "other" time.

72 - 3*6 - 3*8 = 30.

I rest my case.

Erm .. and what about Doomhammer? That had the same problem, no raiding possible for over a week, server shutdown every night. It got so serious we got a blue post on realm forum.

You know, most servers weren't actually offline, so technically they don't have to give us free days (see the TOS).

But then again, an announcement without whining... Not possible ofc :)

Thx Blizz! :)
