Feracoz: Speedhorn, not to steal your thunder but theres a decent black plate chest from Blackrock Depths from the arena, off the spider boss, it's called Spiderfang Breastplate.
Thanks again to Speedhorn for a quality guide. :P (That wasn't sarcastic! *glares at whoever might call it that*)

Damn you Blizzard, change my level! I'm 63 damn you! I'm part of Strife now! Red Harvest disbanded! DAMN YOU!

Great thread, I love it's purpose!

On the topic of torches: I've found multiple torches that was BoE, several of which were under level 60. Search the Auction House, there is bound to be some items of interest there. They were all offhand.

Mining Picks, easily gotten from the mines in the human starting areas, combine with a lantern and ta-da! You're the latest employee of the Jasperlode mine..

I've been meaning to start a peasant character and been collecting straw hats, shovels, machete (rare drop from NE start area, no level req. Use it for working in the field), some brown vest and a pair of patched shoes. Also found the perfect pair of pants of a rare mob furbolg in that village in Teldrassil, can't remember the name now.

And... Tier 5 for Priests.. This has sooo much RP value it's ashame I will most likely never get it..

Also, being a tailor extraordinare I can make you most things if you happen to be Alliance on the Darkmoon Faire server.

Very good guide. When I say "very", I really mean it.

I have had a good luck finding a cool set of RP clothing. I found a few gray items in a short time called "Brockade Vest, Brockade Cloak, Brockade Pants" etc. I decided to save them. They're quite usual drops from Humanoids from level 23+. Anyway, now I have collected a full set of them. Erm, I believe it is full. It looks really nice, and even nicer when I put a hat or the basic Flying Tiger Goggles on my head.

Wow, what a game WoW is!

On the subject of Brocade set, it's easily farmable in Windshear mine located in Stonetalon Mountains. A level 60 ( which I was ta the time ) should be able to acquire the entire set within an hour or two, depending on luck.

I'm still looking for a bucket if anyone's got an idea on where to find one.

Thanks for all your kind replies,

Branwyn.

As far as I know it, I'm asking for impossible... But anyway.

Anyone knows of cloth head gear that only shows your eyes, and doesn't require 5000 gaming hours to get?

The worst enemy of RP are not people who don't do it, but people who do it with limited thinking.

When reading through this guide (which I really enjoyed btw) I remembered an old very rare drop I tried to find in Uldaman on previous characters. As far as I know it's the only hat in the game with those graphics.

I'd like to add something to the list as well.
It is possible to pickpcoket a Red Rose (no, not the same as a bouquet) from certain higher level oozes. The easiest would be those in maraudon who have a high pickpocket rate.
The Red rose is a single rose held in your offhand. looks a bit more romantic than a bouquet I think

Also If you like to look like an engineer try finding the Mechbuilder's Overalls in Gnomeregan. They are a rare drop which I found on the non-elite Gnomes that infest the later part of the dungeon. You dont even need legs or boots as this chest is the entire suit in one item. Downsides are that it requires you to have a certain level of engineering and that it is extremely rare.

I've been thinking about rping a silverwing Sentinel type character in the future, not all the details ive planned yet..but was just wondering if anyone had any good ideas on the clothes, as similar to a night elf silverwing sentinel you see guarding places as possible...I'm pretty sure the weapons they use are unobtainable but would be nice to get a purple set similar to the guards.

When I used to play a sailor-type Dwarf, I used to wear:

http://www.wowhead.com/?item=3563 (Awesome trousers)
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=3342 (Best shirt in the game)
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=14174 (Boots)
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=10187 (Eyepatch)

For Bliggs here, I'd really love to combine:

http://thottbot.com/?set=184 (Shadowcraft, minus the hood)
http://thottbot.com/i19998 (Bloodvine Lens)
http://thottbot.com/i13361 (Dual-wielding these would rawk. Blizz should make more 1h swords that sheath on your back)
http://thottbot.com/i13340

It would looke something like http://i.thottbot.com/ss/o/3895.jpg but on a male Dwarf. With the lens.

Unfortunately, what with TBC, it's almost impossible to get groups for the required instances :(

And finally, an outfit I'm working on for another Dwarf alt (Yes, I love beardlings):

http://thottbot.com/i14748 (One of the best-looking lowbie mail armor sets imo)
http://thottbot.com/i5196 (Dual-wielded)

Most of the armour can be found pretty easily on the AH, apart from the shoulders, which are almost impossible to find. If anyone on my server has a pair, please contact me!
